Mission Statement

WHAT IS THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ?

The Chamber of Commerce is a strong, pro-business organization comprised of industrial, professional and retail business, as well as concerned citizens working together to advance the commercial, financial, industrial and civic interests of the communities we serve. Its purpose is to contribute to the economic stability of the area, to assist in the orderly growth of the community, to keep the public informed on vital issues, and to retain the private enterprise system within free competitive markets.

WHO CAN JOIN THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ?

Membership is open to businesses in the Greater Bridgeville Area and surrounding communities who solicit business in the area, and to concerned citizens. Everyone should be a member of the Chamber of Commerce. Membership can help you make the kind of business contacts necessary for your business to succeed and grow. Carolyn Graham of 4xprinting was reelected to the office of vice president. Lynn Emerson of Business Legal was reelected secretary and Raymond Goodrich of Development Dimensions International was reelected as treasurer. Board members for 2001 include Trip Amick of A&H Equipment and Signs; Lorraine Casciato of Henderson Brothers,, Inc.; Karen Dalzotto of South Hills Financial Group; Richard Harrington of Hickory Hights Land Company; Jack Hunt of Verizon; William Mauser of JC Penney Company; Michael Smelko of Northwest Savings Bank; and Elizabeth Wernertof Portman's Farm Market.
